 1. Hano eller Tewa (in sentida kommen Tewatalande grupp)
 2. Sichomovi
 3. Walpi (De här tre städerna ser ut som om de vore en enda)

B. Second Mesa (Eller den i mitten)
 1. Shongopovi
 2. Mishongnovi
 3. Shipaulovi

C. Third Mesa (Västligast)
 1. Old Oraibi
 2. New Oraibi, kallad c
 3. Hoteavilla, konservativ avknoppning från Oraibi.
 4. Bakavi, en annan mindre avknoppning.
 5. Upper Moencopi, Lower Moencopi, belägna en bit från Mesas. Lower Moencopi
     är en speciellt traditionell by.

Wupatki : A Toltec outpost?
Hade Maya och Tolteker en koloni norrröver, så långt som in i Arizona? Indicier finns i gamla lämningar efter Hohokamkulturen där man t ex hittat bollplaner lika de centralamerikanska.  Jfr.  Wiki.
  Området kring Wupatki blev en plats för kulturmöte mellan Anasazi i öster och norr, Hohokam i södker och Mogollon i sydost. Man kan ev tala om en ny kultur ibland kallad Hisatsinom som hade en kort livslängd ca 150 år.
 Hopis hävdar att det var deras Björnklan som grundade Wupatki.
